10×10×1,5 mm profile tube is the lightest square for thin structures
10×10 mm profile tube with 1,5 mm wall thickness is the thinnest square profile in the SteelStream catalog. It is an electric-resistance-welded steel tube made from Ст3 (С235) with four stiffening ribs, which, at a minimum weight 0,41 kg/m, holds its shape better than a round pipe or wire of the same weight. It is chosen where the construction must be light, neat and inexpensive.
Where the 10×10 pipe is used:

A thicker wall for this cross-section is usually not produced — 1,5 mm is the optimum for stiffness and weight.
