☀️ Where is a “tall economy” fence used?
- Solar power plants (SPPs): an industry standard, with kilometres of fencing around solar panel fields. The 1.7 m height keeps out passers-by and animals, while the price helps meet the project budget.
- Gardens and agribusiness: fencing against wild animals (roe deer and hares). A 1.7 m height is a sufficient obstacle.
- Construction sites: temporary construction perimeter fencing. It looks neat and is easy to install and remove.
⚠️ An honest look at stiffness
At 1.7 m high, 3.5 mm wire is fairly flexible.
- Wind: the panel has a low wind load because it is transparent, so wind is not a concern.
- Mechanical protection: it will not stop a vehicle or an intruder with tools. It is a “visual barrier”.
- Recommendation: do not use this panel for enclosures for large dogs — their body weight can simply bend it out of shape.
📦 Economical installation
- Posts: 60х40 mm tubing (1.5 mm wall) is sufficient.
- Fasteners: 4 sets per post.
- Foundation: posts can simply be driven into the ground (if the soil allows) or set in spot concrete.
