20×20 mm steel square bar is a hot-rolled product made from Ст3пс/сп steel, selected when the solid material itself, rather than a hollow profile’s geometry, must carry the load. At more than three kilograms of steel per metre, this section is suitable for components subject to impact, pressure, and crushing loads that hollow tube cannot withstand. Do not confuse it with 20×20 hollow section: despite similar search terms, these are fundamentally different products (see the comparison in our guide).
