12×12 mm steel square bar is a hot-rolled product made from Ст3пс/сп steel. In forging and welding work, it serves as the structural “skeleton”: it is used to make frames and load-bearing bars to which decorative infill made from smaller sections is attached. Compared with the 10 mm size, it is nearly twice as stiff in bending, but can still be cut with an angle grinder and welded using a domestic machine without edge preparation.
