36 mm steel round bar is hot-rolled long product for critical, heavily loaded assemblies. At almost 8 kg per metre, it provides blanks for machine shafts, hydraulic cylinder rods, and heavy machinery axles. At this diameter, round bar is ordered for a specific part made to a drawing rather than held as general-purpose stock. Grades 20 and 45 are available for machining and hardening.
