30 mm steel round bar is hot-rolled long product used as stock for large rotating parts. At over 5.5 kg per metre, it provides blanks that can be cut into discs for sprockets, gears, and flywheels, or turned into heavy drive shafts. Grades 20 and 45 structural steel are available for machining and hardening the working surfaces.
