28 mm steel round bar is hot-rolled long product for serial machine manufacturing. At almost 5 kg per metre, it provides a blank for intermediate shafts with several bearing journals, hubs, and heavy-duty axles. This size is used for series production of rotating, load-bearing parts rather than one-off repairs. Grades 20 and 45 are available for machining and hardening.
