12 mm steel round bar is hot-rolled long product and one of the most popular diameters in a machine shop. Unlike smaller sizes, 12 mm bar can serve as a rotating component under load: shafts for small mechanisms, hinge pins, and roller axles. It is available not only in Ст3 but also in grades 20 and 45 structural steel for machining.
